About Us

Christine Giles, MS, CCC-SLP

Christine Giles, MS, CCC-SLP is a practicing therapist as well as the owner of Creative Therapy Works, LLC.  She earned an undergraduate degree at The Florida State University with a major in Communication Disorders and a Master of Science degree from The University of Wyoming in Speech-Language Pathology.  She has been actively practicing therapy in schools, pediatric hospitals, private settings, home health, rehabilitation facilities, and skilled nursing facilities since 2002.

These diverse practice settings have provided Christine with vast experience in serving patients raging from age three months to age ninety-five.  Christine continues to pursue education beyond her degree and has furthered her knowledge in the areas of skilled dementia/ memory therapy, electrical stimulation for dysphagia, literacy/ reading, apraxia of speech, pragmatic therapy, and phonological awareness.  She believes in tailoring therapy to functional environments and does this with the use of therapeutic crafting, literature based intervention, social groups, and role-playing.  By adapting each session to the individual needs of the client, Christine celebrates the uniqueness of each patient and has adopted a philosophy that discards the ”cookie cutter” approach to therapy.

Creative therapy that works!
